| During early spring of 1999, Marge
attended a class on soap making. It interested her. She
attended another one and thought, "I can do that."
She noted that some soapers used goat milk in their top of the line soaps.
Thus, she decided to use goat milk in all her soaps. So, she told Ted, "We need some goats."
Ted said, "Yes dear." Marge saw an ad "Goats
for free." We checked 'em out and Ted said, "We'll
take 'em if you deliver." A couple of days later,
Baaambi and Baaambaa, registered Alpines, showed up at our door.
Marge spent a lot of time researching recipes, ingredients, soap molds, containers, etc. In the meantime, Ted milked the goats and made goat cheese. Our handmade products have been well received creating a repeat customer base. Our most dedicated customers are those with problem skin conditions that are not resolved using products commonly available in normal retail outlets. |
Our Story |

Baaambaa 1999 |
From 1999 to 2005, our goats lived in the Huachuca
Mountains above 5,000 feet, breathed the clean mountain
air, exercised in large pens, were fed quality goat food,
drank pure water from our well, and produced high quality
milk. We sold or harvested our animals in 2005 and
have friends that sell their goat milk to us.

GROWTH. During 1999, we started marketing the products at craft shows and bazaars and added this web site. During 2000, we expanded the number of shows we attended and also converted one of the rooms in our house to a product display area. During 2001, we started wholesaling to distributors in Arizona and Oregon and still respond to inquiries from retailers from other parts of the US. As a result, we now market at only a few shows. During 2005 we reduced our product mix to focus on our Body Polish and Lotion Bars, Pooch Shampoo, and our special "Arizona" soaps. Thank you for your support!
